My child, I awaken you with a song in your heart each morning, because I want to be the first One you think of before you get out of bed. Speak to Me and turn your day over to Me before your feet hit the floor. Listen to Me and hear a word from Me. The lesson here is this: in order for Me to awaken you with the words of a Christian song, you first need to be filling your mind each day with Christian songs on the radio. In order for Me to remind you of a Scripture verse, you first need to be reading My Word every day. The goal is to be ingesting as much of the Bible and Christian lyrics as possible, so that I may use the words to speak to you, bless you, instruct you, remind you, convict you, and encourage you. You are My child and I love you beyond measure. I desire first place in your life. When your eyes open in the morning, look to Me. Tune your ears to My voice and listen to My instructions. Take Me with you and think of Me throughout the day. We are one in spirit. I am with you always whether you realize it or not. Speak to me all day long and listen to my voice. I will guide your steps in the plans I have laid out for you. I am your God, and you are the child I delight in.
