He Knows My Name

He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name. (Psalm 147:4)

Sweet child of mine, you were in my thoughts before I formed your heart and gave you the breath of life. I know your thoughts, I see your tears, and I hear your call. I am with you wherever you go; I will never leave you. Your life is in my hands.

I determine the number of the stars and call them each by name. How much more precious you are to me than anything in all my creation. I know you and call you by name. You are not only my offspring, but also my heir. All that I have is yours. Live in the abundance I offer you. Seek me for your wisdom. Call on me for your strength. Listen to my counsel. Receive the comfort I give you. My perfect peace belongs to you.

Search for me as treasure. Your true identity lies in me. When you know me, you will find your source of joy and peace. I have come to give you life. In my death and resurrection, you receive forgiveness of your sins and reconciliation to me. You, too, are raised to a new life in me. Discard your old ways and find the meaning of true life when you believe in me. I am your Father, you are my own, I call you by name.

Maranatha! Gospel – He Knows My Name Lyrics

I have a Maker

He formed my heart

Before even time began

My life was in His hands

He knows my name

He knows my every thought

He sees each tear that falls

And hears me when I call

I have a Father

He calls me His own

He’ll never leave me

No matter where I go

He knows my name

He knows my every thought

He sees each tear that falls

And hears me when I call

He knows my name

He knows my every thought

He sees each tear that falls

And hears when I call

You are My Bride–Are You Ready?

A woman is standing at the microphone and holding a pen.“Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.†(Revelation 19:7)

My darling bride, I have come to rescue you. I have brought fine linen for you to wear. You will be dressed in righteousness because you belong to me. Make yourself ready for the wedding. Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb! Blessed are you whose names are written in heaven in the Lamb’s book of life. I am with my Father now, but at His appointed time, I will return for you and take you home to be with Me. Will you be ready?

I have clothed you in salvation and righteousness. Now clothe yourself with Me, the Lord Jesus. Clothe yourself with splendor and majesty. The King is enthralled with your beauty. Honor Him for He is your Lord. Dress yourself in compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Let love be your cloak that binds all these virtues together.

Display the fruit of the Spirit prominently for all to see My attributes in you: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Live by the Spirit, I have placed in you. Let your acts of kindness be a gift to all those you attend to.

Prepare your heart for your Bridegroom. Make ready your spirit by keeping in step with My Spirit in you. Love Me with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. Honor Me by putting Me in first place in your life. Spend time with Me daily listening to my voice. I will guide you and instruct you. I will counsel you and comfort you. I will shower you with love, joy, and peace. I will give you the desires of your heart. I have come to give you life, both now and forever.

You are my bride, and I love you more than you know.

Shout to the Lord All the Earth

In several of my recent blogs, you have seen that the Lord has been waking me up with a song in my heart. The first time I realized this was happening followed a time when I exercised my obedience to an assignment that the Lord gave me back in April this year. The task required that I step way outside my comfort zone. God required my faith and trust for this work He had called me to do.

I did step out in faith and trusted God to guide me through this challenge to carry out his plans. Of course, He faithfully walked me through each step of the journey. Awaking me with the lyrics of unique worship songs every morning became one of the ways God rewarded me for my obedience. The topics of these songs became the subjects of my morning quiet times with the Lord. It has been a blessing and encouragement to me that continues to remunerate me even now when I pay attention.

The lesson God continues to remind me of is this: In order for the Holy Spirit to make things known to me through Scripture and the lyrics of great worship songs, I need to make it my practice to spend time reading his Word and listening to Christian music. Reading the Bible and feeding our minds at all times, in all ways, with the goodness of God is key to experiencing the voice of God in our thoughts on a regular basis.

The song verse that woke me this morning was, “Shout to the Lord, all the earth, let us sing.” By Darlene Zschech. What a wonderful reminder of the power and majesty of King Jesus. Rather than listening to God’s voice this morning, I will use the joyful words of my lips to praise God for his greatness. Let’s make it our daily practice to be in the Word of God filling our thoughts with the goodness of God!

Shout To The Lord – Darlene Zschech Lyrics

My Jesus, my Savior

Lord, there is none like You

All of my days, I want to praise

The wonders of Your mighty love

My comfort, my shelter

Tower of refuge and strength

Let every breath, all that I am

Never cease to worship You

Shout to the Lord, all the earth, let us sing

Power and majesty, praise to the King

Mountains bow down and the seas will roar

At the sound of Your name

I sing for joy at the work of Your hands

Forever I’ll love You, forever I’ll stand

Nothing compares to the promise I have in

You My Jesus, my Savior Lord, there is none like You

All of my days, I want to praise

The wonders of Your mighty love

My comfort, my shelter Tower of refuge and strength

Let every breath, all that I am

Never cease to worship You

Shout to the Lord, all the earth, let us sing

Power and majesty, praise to the King

Mountains bow down and the seas will roar

At the sound of Your name I sing for joy at the work of Your hands

Forever I’ll love You, forever I’ll stand

Nothing compares to the promise I have

Shout to the Lord, all the earth, let us sing

Power and majesty, praise to the King

Mountains bow down and the seas will roar

At the sound of Your name

I sing for joy at the work of Your hands

Forever I’ll love You, forever I’ll stand

Nothing compares to the promise I have in You

Nothing compares to the promise I have in You

Nothing compares to the promise I have in You

Shout for Joy to the Lord

Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Serve the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. (Psalm 100)

My blessed child, I have heard your prayer. I woke you with a song in your heart today. Listen to the song and respond in praise. Before you put your feet on the floor, shout for joy! I AM. I created you; you are mine. I am good. Enter my presence with thanksgiving. I have given you the breath of life, and I sustain your life every day. I alone am the source of your strength and joy. You can do all things today through Me. I am faithful to all generations. My love endures throughout eternity. Sing a new song of praise to me today.

Open your eyes, O child of the King

Open your heart and let praises ring

Open your ears to hear His sweet voice

Open your mouth and make joyful noise

In the wee hours of morning before you rise

When you lie in bed and open your eyes

Your heart releases a sweet song of praise

That reminds you who authors all of your days

With thankful heart, shout for joy to the Lord

Before you roll over and put feet to the floor

Remember who made you and to whom you belong

Praise Him again with the words of this song

Submit this new day to the Lord of the earth

The One who designed you and gave you His worth

Let Him lead you today on the path He has willed

And see how much joy in your heart He has filled

When morning turns the corner into afternoon

Remember the One who hung sun and moon

With thankful heart, shout for joy to the King

Let the words of this song burst forth as you sing

As the sun sets down the runway of day

Turn your heart to the One to whom you do pray

And thank him profoundly for the gift of this song

That gave you a way to praise him the day long

And when you climb into bed and try to sleep tight

Give thanks to the One who brings morning light

For this day He did give you along with a story

Shout for joy to the Lord, the King of all glory

I Knit You Together in Your Mother’s Womb

A woman is standing at the microphone and holding a pen.

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. (Psalm 139:13-14)

My darling daughter, I knew you before I created you in your mother’s womb. I ordained all of your days before one of them came to be. You are my beautiful creation, made in my likeness. Let your light shine, as my light shines through you. Raise your hands to the heavens in praise of my holy name. You are my child. I love you beyond measure. Lift your eyes toward the skies and watch me smile down upon you. You are my precious one. I call you by name, you are my own.

Spend time with me today, and I will shower you with my love an affection. Listen to my voice, my wisdom will direct your paths. Search for me as hidden treasure. Seek me and find me when you look for me with all your heart. I am with you always. I have never stopped pursuing you. Make time for me in your day. I am your strength and peace. I am your comfort and joy. Know me and experience the life I have planned for you. You are the child I delight in. I celebrate your birth today! Happy Birthday, my love.

Inexpressible Joy in the Midst of Pain

1 Peter 1:6-9

In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

My precious child, even in the midst of your suffering, you are filled with an inexpressible joy because you believe in me. My joy is your strength. Though you suffer grief in your current trials, your faith is being proven genuine and glorifies my name. I have given you a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. You are shielded by my power, and I hold an inheritance in heaven for you. Do not fear the future. Be strong and courageous, knowing that I do not give you more than you can bear. I will carry you through your battles. Cast your cares upon me, and I will lighten your load. Put your trust in me—anything is possible.

When I woke this morning, my heart played the these lyrics from “Thrive” by Casting Crowns–

“Joy unspeakable, faith unsinkable, love unstoppable, anything is possible.”

Here are the song lyrics to “Thrive” by Casting Crowns

Here in this worn and weary land

Where many a dream has died

Like a tree planted by the water

We never will run dry

So living water flowing through

God we thirst for more of You

Fill our hearts and flood our souls

With one desire

Just to know You and to make You known

We lift Your name on High

Shine like the sun made darkness run and hide

We know we were made for so much more

Than ordinary lives

It’s time for us to more than just survive

We were made to thrive

Woah Woah

Into Your word we’re digging deep

To know our Father’s heart

Into the world we’re reaching out

To show them who You are

So living water flowing through

God we thirst for more of You

Fill our hearts and flood our souls

With one desire

Just to know You and to make You known

We lift Your name on High

Shine like the sun made darkness run and hide

We know we were made for so much more

Than ordinary lives

It’s time for us to more than just survive

We were made to thrive

Joy unspeakable, faith unsinkable,

Love unstoppable, anything is possible

Joy unspeakable, faith unsinkable,

Love unstoppable, anything is possible

Joy unspeakable, faith unsinkable,

Love unstoppable, anything is possible

Joy unspeakable, faith unsinkable,

Love unstoppable, anything is possible

Just to know You and to make You known

We lift Your name on High

Shine like the sun made darkness run and hide

We know we were made for so much more

Than ordinary lives

It’s time for us to more than just survive

We were made to thrive Hey!

Woah Woah

Woah Woah

We were made to thrive

No Greater Love

A woman is standing at the microphone and holding a pen.In John 15:9-14, Jesus says this, “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father’s commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command.â€

You are my child—not only my child, but also my friend. No one loves you more than I do. I love you so much that I laid down my life for you. Will you now lay down your life for me and do as I commanded you? Love each other as I have loved you. You cannot do this without my help.

At one time or another, love requires sacrifice. Whether it’s laying down your life, your selfish desires, your control, your obsessions, or your possessions, love requires sacrifice and submission. In loving each other, you will need to serve each other, submit to each other, and place each other’s needs ahead of your own. This is sacrificial love. I would not ask you to do anything I have not already done.

When you love each other as I have loved you, my joy will be in you and your joy will be complete. No greater reward is there for your obedience than a joyful heart. This is lasting joy, not temporary happiness. With joy, comes the peace of knowing that you live a life that is pleasing to me. Abide in me and I will abide in you. Love others and remain in my love. Remain in me and experience the love, peace, and joy of the full life I intended for you.

Phillips, Craig & Dean – What Kind of Love is This Lyrics

Artist: Phillips, Craig & Dean

What kind of love is this that climbs the hill That bears the cross, that takes the nails? What kind of love is this that takes my place That gives His life and clears my name? Oh, I want to know what kind of love is this?

What kind of love is this that gives His Son That bears the sin of everyone? What kind of love is this that cries alone That tastes of death to bring me home? Oh, I want to know what kind of love is this?

It’s wonderful, it’s glorious It’s full of grace and full of mercy Powerful, it’s marvelous That’s what this love is That’s what God’s love is

What kind of love is this that fills my soul That lifts me up and makes me whole? What kind of love is this that gives me hope That dries my tears and brings me joy? Oh, I want to know what kind of love this is?

Jesus, Jesus He’s full of grace and full of mercy Jesus, my Jesus This is what love is That’s what God’s love is

I’m Alive

Day 3—I awoke to these lyrics from Matt Maher’s song, Because He Lives (Amen). The Lord put this song in my heart:

I’m alive, I’m alive, because He lives.

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20)

My darling daughter, when you invited me into your heart to be your Savior and Lord, you were crucified with me. You no longer live, but I live in you. You have died to yourself; you now live for me. I sent my Spirit to live in your heart. Now live according to the Spirit, not according to the flesh.

You are alive, because I live. I came to give you a full life—a life full of me. Your new life will be complete with my peace and joy. I do not give you peace as the world knows it. My peace is beyond understanding. You may have peace at all times, because I, the Prince of Peace, live in you. Seek me for tranquility, even in the midst of the storm. I am with you at all times. Place your heart in my capable hands. I give you rest for your weary soul.

I live in you, therefore, you are alive. Live for me and find out what true life is about.

Your Will, Your Way

Lord, the other morning, you woke me up to the Rush of Fools song Lay Me Down with the chorus playing over and over in my mind:

It will be my joy to say Your will, Your way. It will be my joy to say Your will, Your way. It will be my joy to say Your will, Your way. Always.

May these words forever be the song and attitude of my heart. I am here to please You alone, not myself and others. I want to do Your will, Your way. May I always be yielded to You and seek Your will in everything I do and say. Let those words marinate my soul and imprint on my mind. Lord, Your way is perfect. You are my shield and my refuge. You arm me with strength and make my way perfect. I am yours. Lead me where you want me to go and keep me in your perfect will, your perfect way. It will be my joy to say, “Your will, Your way!â€

“As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him. For who is God besides the Lord? And who is the Rock except our God? It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect.†(2 Samuel 22:31-33)

My child, I am the Way. My way is perfect. When you are surrendered to me, I will make your way perfect too. Seek me and my will for everything you do. I have a plan for you. I know what is best for you. I will be your strength and your refuge. I will lead you in the way everlasting. Yield your heart, your mind, and your body to me. I am in control. I am your stronghold. I am your Rock. I will take care of you. A woman is standing at the microphone and holding a pen.

I Call You By Name

The man who enters by the gate is the shepherd of his sheep. The watchman opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice.  He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. (John 10:2-4)

My child, you are more than just my daughter. I love you, and I have called you by name. You are my precious lamb. I conceived you in my mind before I created the world. I formed you in your mother’s womb, and I ordained all your days before one of them came to be. I have engraved you on the palms of my hands. I will not forget you! I am with you always. You are special to me. Spend time with me today and listen to my voice. Let my words be food for your hungry soul and water for your thirsty spirit. Delight in me and experience my joy and peace. You are my child, called by my name. (See Psalm 139:13-16, Isaiah 49:16)
