Amplify My Voice

Intensify my heart, O Lord, and AMPLIFY my voice

To IMPACT those around me and reduce the worldly noise.

You’ve knit together in my heart a passionate DESIRE

To share the GOODNESS of your love and set the world on fire.

 

You’ve put a MESSAGE in my mouth that people need to hear

PREPARE the hearts of those You want to lend a listening ear.

EQUIP ME with compassion as I share my hope in You

OPEN doors and lay the groundwork only You can do.

 

You’ve GIFTED me to do the work You planned for me to do

As a STEWARD of Your generous love, I offer them to you.

Here I am, Lord, USE ME now to carry out your ways

Let me be Your SALT and LIGHT for all my earthly days.


 

Devote Yourself in Prayer

“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.” (Colossians 4:2-6)

My child, you are the salt of the earth. Make the most of every opportunity to be My witness. Always treat unbelievers with dignity, kindness, and respect for they are My children too. Season your words with grace as you clearly proclaim My message. Devote yourself to prayer and I will open doors for you to enter with My gospel. Be watchful for the opportunities I provide you. Be thankful that I use you to carry out My plan. Work at it with all your heart. Your reward is an inheritance from Me. It is the Lord Christ you serve. I desire that you take My gospel into all the world. Your prayers will unlock new passageways every day. Devote yourself to Me in prayer.

You are the salt of the earth. I have seasoned you with my goodness. Let all your conversations with outsiders be always full of grace and truth. Season the earth with the salt I have given you. Do not lose your saltiness, and therefore, your effectiveness as my witness. Remain in me and my salt will remain in you. In the world, too much sodium is not good for you. However, my salt makes for a healthy heart. Taste and see that the Lord is good, and then, season the whole earth with my goodness.
