He sat upon the judgement seat
And said to me, “Please stand,
You’ve been charged as guilty
And placed in My court’s hand
A slow and painful death
Is the price for all your sin
But I have sent My only Son
As your propitiation
He walked the earth as human
Yet, remained without transgression
To be the spotless Lamb of God
The only qualified concession
He was beaten, spit on, mocked and scourged
A man of sorrows great, was He
They placed a crown of thorns on Him
And nailed Him to a tree
He bore the weight of all your sin
While hanging on the cross
He took your penalty of death
So you wouldn’t pay the cost
But death could not keep this man
In His earthly tomb or grave
In three days posthumously
I rolled the stone away
I raised His body from the dead
An amazing resurrection
And now, He sits at My right hand
Eternally in heaven
So confess your sin and turn away
From the life that you’ve been livin’
Because of My amazing love
You, now, may stand forgiven
All I ask in return from you
Is put Me first every day
Love Me more than everything
And listen to what I say
I did not leave you an orphan
When I returned My Son to Me
I gave you another gift
That’s absolutely free
The Holy Spirit is His name
I place Him in your heart
When you accept My Son, Jesus,
I give you a fresh start
My Spirit will instruct you
And remind you what I say
He’ll comfort you and counsel you
And strengthen you each day
He is a friend who walks with you
Through your joys and your defeat
He will never leave you
He is your paraclete
So learn to listen to My voice
Through My Spirit deep within
Receive My power and My might
To live life without sin
My child, I love you immensely
More than you comprehend
I look forward to eternity with you
And I call you, My friend.â€
